Aunt Michele Told Me More About german militaria
My Aunt Michele was adopted by an American family when she was just a tiny girl, and she has very few memories of her time in Germany. She has told me often that she wishes she could remember more of what happened there, but she knows that her family had such great tragedy that perhaps it is better that she does not. She is however very interested in learning all she can about her history, and about german militaria in general. She often adds to her personal collection of artwork and is always telling me that these are pieces of true history.
