Fruits can be Affected by Various Diseases
If you grow various fruits, such as peaches, apricots, tomatoes, nectarines, and peppers you may or may not know that that are susceptible to various diseases. One disease that can be devastating is the bacterial spot disease. The disease attacks both the fruits and the leaves in a spotted pattern over the fruit. The spots are purple or black in appearance that are tiny, but as it progressive, these tiny spots on the skin of the fruit can actually be broken and the fruit below the spot caves in. The disease obviously makes the entire piece of fruit unappealing and the farmer or grower is left with a lot of unusable fruit.
