The past few months have been really tough on me. I quit my job because I can longer take my bickering, demanding and insensitive boss. Then I had an argument with my mom. She was so mad at me after learning I quit my job. Tired of all the stresses in my life, I left my house and went on a vacation alone. I was trying to search for my purpose in life. I don’t know what is in store for me. The Jacksonville Spring Break Cruises gave me a good taste of the region. I was able to unwind. I’m looking forward to going back exploring more of the region outside of the capitol cities.

I was called into a conference room and offered a new position within the team. I just got a promotion from a supervisor to a managerial job. The position is new and my first step into a management role.  At last, my hard work and perseverance paid off. The toughest thing about accepting this position is the uncertainty. It feels like this whole scenario is a test run to see where things go. This position means more hours and bigger responsibilities. I took the challenge and was even happy about it. I just had the best time of my life. I got married with the most handsome man on earth. The man I always dream of. . He’s such a great man with a big heart. When I went back home, I was a totally different person. I’m stronger and a better woman now.

My boyfriend is 11 years older than me. He became my best friend, confidant and he just makes me happy. My parents did not approve of our relationship because he was married. He was separated from his wife and has 2 children. He was kind loving and romantic. My world revolves around him. My parents made me quit my job. My dad, being a military man, even threatened him to stay away from me. To make our long story short, I left my job. I lost track of my boyfriend I busied myself with the family business. I was getting bored of my life.  I wanted to go to the place of no return hoping it will put an end to the bitterness engulfing my being.   However, when my best friend invited me to go cruising, all the pains and heartaches seemed to vanish into the wind.  While on board the ship, I met someone who was the epitome of sweetness and kindness.  During the entire journey, she made me feel special- I felt like a king then!   More so, the trip gave me a new perspective in life.  It made me a new man.  I was overjoyed that I took the Legend of the Seas from Singapore.  What I am now, I owe this to my best friend and the trip!
