The fourth terrace, by far the best, with a grand pavilion of black stones, was reserved for the royal ladies in the days long past of the Buses from Bellary. My sisters and I take a vacation together every year. We pack up our things, load up somebodies suburban, and leave the kids with our husbands for a week. It’s one of my favorite times of the year - shopping, swimming, going to the spa, and catching up with my sister. This year we’re looking into vacation rentals in Lake Tahoe, since we’ve never been there before. Which is funny, since we all live so close! We’re all pretty excited. I was looking for a sunny holiday that could offer luxurious accommodation in lush surroundings. I want loads of activities at my finger tips as well. Of course, it all needs to be at a decent price too. It may sound like I’m dreaming, and I thought that maybe I had set my standards a bit high, but after doing some research I’ve found the most amazing place to stay – the Hauza Beach resort. It hands down beat all the other hotels in Egypt. It’s got its own beautiful beach and seawater lagoon as well as a pool with five separate levels and water slides!  There are tons of amenities on site and the hotel is happy to arrange off site excursions as well. The best part is that it all fits nicely in my modest budget.

My husband and I each have the job of our dreams. We work together in one of the finest Delaware seafood restaurants as evening chefs. My specialties are breads and desserts, and his is seafood preparation. We go to work together and come home the same way. Since we each have our own interests, we rarely get in one another’s way or criticize each other’s work. One of the best parts of our job is the fact that we get to live so close to the ocean during the peak tourist season and travel elsewhere for short term work during the cold eastern winters. We really are blessed to have such a wonderful life together.
