Data Backups Save the Day
If you own a computer, chances are you’ve been told time and again to make frequent backups. Hopefully, you’ve heeded that advice. If you haven’t, make it a priority to get in the habit of backing up your data. Having backups will save the day if you ever have a hardware malfunction or a virus. If a virus wiped out all your files, for example, having a backup would be essential. All you would have to do to restore your computer then would be to troubleshoot your hard drives with fdisk, reinstall any applications, and transfer your backed up files onto the machine.
