Getting Child Care Help in Vermont
As a single mom of two wonderful kids, I needed to do everything to keep a roof over our heads as well as food on the table by working. I didn’t lose my job, but the company had to cut our hours as well as our pay. Because of that, I could no longer afford to pay for child care for my two kids. I decided to look at Vermont single parent grants to see if I could get some help. Fortunately, I found a state program from DCF that paid for most of my child care expenses so that I could keep my job.
