Keep It Simple When It Comes To Home Decor
Maybe it’s just me, but I rarely see common sense applied when it comes to home decor. People either go crazily minimal where there’s hardly any furniture in the house, or they over-elaborate and you find rooms crammed full of accessories and furniture. Both options are rather tempting: minimal design is easier to manage, whereas accessorising means you don’t have to make the “no” decision to certain items – just add them to your house.
But somewhere between these extremes you have simple elegance – a pragmatic, livable decor. For example, I recommend wooden shutters which give a solidity to the look and feel of your home, and canvas art prints for your walls.
