I hate cleaning the gutters! I remember being a kid and having to do it every year as part of the fall chores. I guess Dad was too busy or scared to do it himself, so from the time I was 11 I was the one cleaning the gutters. Boy I wish we had gutter guards back then! I recently had to have the roof looked at because some shingles had come loose and the guy told me about the guards. I immediately loved the idea! I only hope I can convince my wife that they are worth getting. Maybe if I tell her what the guy said about rainwater collecting, she’s always trying to go green.
