Three Aspects to Fulfillment
When you examine the gut of the order fulfillment process, it comes down to three aspects; picking, packing and shipping. When an order is sent to a company, it is then taken to the warehouse where most of the leg work of the fulfillment process takes place. First is the picking, the items that were order are gathered and prepped for packing. Once all of the items are gathered, they are properly packed so they remain in mint condition. Once packed, the items are shipped to the company that placed the order. It is a quick tour of what the fulfillment process is all about.
