Buses from Bellary

The fourth terrace, by far the best, with a grand pavilion of black stones, was reserved for the royal ladies in the days long past of the Buses from Bellary. A Light and Sound Show (Son-et-Lumiere) is held every evening from May to October. It is an excellent attempt in recapturing the romantic life and love of the Emperor Jahangir and his Queen NurJahan. Boardering the Dal Lake, at the foot of Zabarvan Hill, this famous garden was laid out by Asaf Khan, the brother of Empress Nur Jahan in 1633. One of these is double stored, and enclosed on two sides by lovely latticed windows.
